A Multiplicity of Avenues Before Us
As I continue to execute the strategy mapped out at the end of 2011, I harken back to some of the lessons that I learned early in my career. There are many paths to success, some that are unique to the real estate business and some that are not.
- One size doesn’t fit all.
- Be yourself and build on your strengths.
- Don’t allow your weaknesses to rent space in your brain.
- Choose to emulate the successful Realtors who focus on growing their business.
- Ignore those who huddle in the corner complaining.
- There’s a difference between a “pushy” salesperson and one who is “on top of things.”
- Communication is king.
- So too is service.
- Consistency is paramount.
- So too is resolve.
Yes there are varieties of personlity types and ways in which to conduct business. And not really any one that is more affective than another. One of the exciting things about business and a career in real estate is that there are many ways in which to skin the cat.
