Priorities To Success In Real Estate

As the Fall market is fast approaching, it very well may be an ideal time to assess where your business is today and where you would like to take it tomorrow.  A good beginning is to give yourself an honest determination of your strengths and the areas that contribute to your success or lack thereof.

 I.   Which of the items below are your strengths?

  1. Networking
  2. Commitment to your business
  3. Negotiating skills
  4. Communication
  5. Implementing a business plan
  6. Your work ethic
  7. Marketing yourself
  8. Your resolve

II.  Which areas contribute to your success in gaining client loyalty?

  1. Market knowledge
  2. Listening skills
  3. Staying in Touch
  4. Follow Through
  5. Demonstrating that You Genuinely Care
  6. Your Creativity
  7. Your ability to problem solve
  8. Your Availability

Strengths vs. Non-Strengths

I’ve always been a believer in celebrating your strengths as a way in which to grow your business.  Celebrating success:

  • Encourages
  • Energizes
  • Creates Peace of Mind
  • Builds Self-Esteem
  • Inspires

Focusing on weaknesses does the opposite.  Find the areas where you excel and make them the priorities in your day.  Your business will thrive as a result!

Are there areas instrumental to success in real estate that are not listed above?
