Prospecting

The first week of the year is coming to a close.   How much prospecting have you done?  If you’re like many realtors, not as much as you would have liked.

The Sad Truth

The are a lot of brilliant  realtors out there who excude nothing but professionalism.  A realtor has many responsiblities that they have to fulfill in order to meet their fiducairy committment to their client.  One of the reasons that so many enter the field is that they truly enjoy the activities that go along with those responsibilities.  Yet the sad truth is that all the brilliance, professionalism and committment in the world will not amount to success if a realtor doesn’t have prospects.

Have no fear

It’s ironic that the most important component to a realtor’s production is generally the thing that many enjoy the least.  Nevertheless, the facts are the facts.

So if another week has past and you have yet to engage in prospecting to the degree that is necessary to generate a sufficient number of leads, have no fear.  It’s only the first week of 2012 and you have fifty-one weeks left to go.
